První číslo ročníku 2013 otevírá studie Zdeňka Žaluda „Další verze vidění Arnoštaz Pardubic u Konráda z Megenberka“. Jak vystihuje název textu, věnuje se autor vizi arcibiskupa Arnošta z Pardubic, kterou vzdělaný duchovní vložil do svého testamentu a jež zachytili jeho životopisci. Arcibiskupovo vidění zaznamenal rovněž německý učenecKonrád z Megenberku, jehož podání Z. Žalud zasazuje do kontextu s dalšími dochovanými verzemi vize.

Druhý příspěvek Zdeňka Berana „Landfrýdní hnutí v Horní a Dolní Lužici ve středoevropských souvislostech“ se zaměřil landfrýdní hnutí v horno- a dolnolužické oblasti. Přehledně sleduje první náznaky městských spojenectví uzavíraných k zajištění míru a pořádku, která se postupně transformovala ve více komplexní a stabilní landfrýdní hnutí. Poslední studii svazku představuje rozsáhlá druhá část práce „Die zweiKörper des Kanzlers? Die „reale“ und die „virtuelle“ Karriere Kaspar Schlicks unter König und Kaiser Sigismund – Epilegomena zu einem alten Forschungsthema“ z pera Andrease Zajice a Petra Elbla. Zatímco se v první části studie autoři zaměřili na Schlickovu kariéru, pokračování textu se již věnuje rozboru, diplomatické i paleografické analýze, kancléřových falz uchovaných v rodinném archivu. Studie Zdeněk ŽALUD Další verze vidění Arnošta z Pardubic u Konráda z Megenberka Another Version of the Vision of Ernest of Pardubice by Konrad of Megenberg (s. 7–13) The vision of the youth of Ernest of Pardubice has so far been known from his legendary biographies. Helmut Ibach drew attention to the existence of this vision in the treatise by Konrad of Megenberg Commentarius de laudibus B. V. Mariae. The author of the study deals with the context of this vision and compares it with the description of Ernest’s life by Vilém of Lestkov. Konrad of Megenberg included this experience of Ernest’s in the series of exempla on the correction of the sinner, from his own vision. Zdeněk BERAN Landfrýdní hnutí v Horní a Dolní Lužici ve středoevropských souvislostech Landfriede Movement in the Upper and Lower Lusatia in the MiddleEuropean Context (s. 15–54) The study deals with the specifics of landfriede movement in Upper and Lower Lusatia from the Central European point of view. It follows first the emergence of the first city leagues intended to protect public order, which transform into more complex associations and unions. It also shows the development of landfriede unions that led both to the strengthening of internal security of the participating countries, and establishing cooperation with foreign subjects. The development of landfriede movement culminates with the emergence of first genuine landfriedes during the reign of Matthias Corvinus. The work as well proposes possibilities to classify the monitored institutions. The development in Upper Lusatia is probably mostspecific with the Lusatian League (1346), which took over an important part of caring for ensuring security in the country. Landriedes as such were accepted in Upper and Lower Lusatia as a result of Corvinus’s initiative (first in 1474) which led to mutual administrative bondage to his controlled lands in Bohemia. Both countries, though, have a rich tradition in institutions carrying mostly not directly landfriede character to this historical phenomenon in the history of public care to ensure law and order, or in the contemporary lexicon “landfriede”. The “Real” and the “Virtual” Career of Kaspar Schlick under King and Emperor Sigismund – Epilogue to an Old Research Topic II (s. 55–212) The present article is part two of a three-piece study on the remarkable career and the social advancement of Kaspar Schlick (c. 1400-1449) who subsequently served as an imperial chancellor to the rulers of the Holy Roman Empire, Sigismund, Albrecht II and Frederick III. Whereas part one, published in MHB 15/2, 2012, was dedicated to the actual career of the chancellor, the following article focuses on a painstaking diplomatic and paleographic analysis of the complex stock of falsifications kept in the Schlick family archive in Zámrsk.
