Grúň DanielPublikácia s názvom Haptická ozvena. Príroda, telo, politika v umení bývalej Juhoslávie a Československa je výsledkom dlhoročnej spolupráce a výskumu troch odborníkov: Miško Šuvaković, Darko Šimičić a Daniel Grúň, pochádzajúcich z Belehradu, Záhrebu a Bratislavy.
Predmetom ich záujmu sú odlišné alebo asymetrické dejiny umenia Juhoslávie a Československa 60. až 80. rokov 20. storočia. Experimentálne, investigatívne, kritické a emancipujúce umelecké praktiky, ktoré oscilovali na hranici umenia, každodenného žitia, politickej reality a hľadania slobody, predstavuje reprezentatívny výber cez sto umelkýň, umelcov a umeleckých zoskupení. Autori nás prevádzajú spoločnými kľúčovými témami ich tvorby, predstavujú paralely a príbuzenstvá zdanlivo vzdialených svetov, ktorých pochopenie a interpretácia získavajú dnes nový aktuálny význam.
Slovensko-anglická publikácia, ktorá vznikla pri príležitosti konania rovnomennej medzinárodnej výstavy v Galérii mesta Bratislavy, je okrem výstavného katalógu s bohatým obrazovým materiálom i samostatnou vedecko-populárnou štúdiou.
The publication entitled Haptic Echo. Nature, Body, Politics and Art in the Former Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia is the result of many years of collaboration and research by three experts: Miško Šuvaković, Darko Šimičić, and Daniel Grúň, from Belgrade, Zagreb, and Bratislava. The object of their interest is the divergent or asymmetrical art histories of Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia between the 1960s and the 1980s. Experimental, investigative, critical, and emancipatory artistic practices that oscillated at the boundaries between art, everyday life, political reality, and the search for freedom are represented through works of more than one hundred artists and art collectives. The authors guide us through their shared key themes, drawing parallels and affinities between seemingly distant worlds, the understanding and interpretation of which have taken on a new topical significance.
